Astrology Forecast for July 2-8, 2012

The beginning of this week has the potential to be a bit abrasive. Our emotions and sensitivities are more likely to result in conflict, as the Moon squares with Mars, late Monday morning into early evening. There is a need to over-examine the conflict, with Mars in Virgo, to dissect it and try to understand it. This process will only make it more frustrating, as it will likely bring things to light that we would rather keep hidden at the moment.

Wednesday, as the Moon in Capricorn moves into the house of partnerships, squaring with Saturn, and as Mars moves into Libra, we may feel as though our ambitions are getting the best of us. Capricorn represents the slow and steady accumulation of wealth and social status, and while they are usually successful, sometimes they are a bit more ambitious than their present position warrants. We may want too much too fast, and conflict will appear as an issue of balance. This should be fairly short-lived, but it is a good reminder to temper our emotions and not let them get the best of us.

On a more positive note, there should be great communication and opportunity in love this week, with Venus conjunct with Jupiter, and also at an advantageous relation with Mercury. Communications between lovers will be self-focused, but also passionate and expressive this week, particularly with lovers who are also good friends. There is a feeling that things are working out the way they are meant to, and even moving to a closer connection, a higher level of relating to each other. This will become more obvious towards the end of the week, as the Moon, ruler of our emotions and sensitivities comes into a good alignment with Jupiter and Venus. As it will be in Aquarius, we will start to feel our emotional load lighten a bit. Things are not as serious as we sometimes think they are.

This coming weekend, as the Moon moves into Pisces, we may find ourselves desiring an escape. This may come in the form of socialization, entertainment, inebriation, or quiet reflection. We will want to ignore the inconvenient "real world" for a while. This is fine. Just don't overdo it. The real world will still be there on Monday.
